40 Iranian hunters make very public stunt over giving up their guns

The display and oath to give up hunting animals forever coincided with Caspian Environment Week. The hunters who bid farewell forever to slaying animals are from the villages of Darbkla, Mrsm and Osa.

They broke two rifles apart to show their regret.

I am on the fence about hunting game. In some countries and for some populations it might make sense and it’s quite possibly a more humane way of eating meat.
