One of the best ways to reduce your waste is to reuse it. If you want to get rid of something, perhaps there is someone else out there that would treasure your rejects. When reading the news keep your eyes open for community events which give such opportunities. None in your neighborhood? Organize one! It can be a fun way to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones.

As far back as he can remember Jack Reichert has been interested in the environment. In the second grade, he rallied all of his classmates to donate one recess a week to cleaning up litter from the schoolyard. That was the same year that a city councilman asked him to help with his campaign because of the letter Jack had written asking him to clean up Boston Harbor. Ever since Jack has followed the development of the international green conscience with anticipation and hope that one day we will treat Mother Earth with the respect she deserves and not turn her into another Giving Tree.   1. Couldn’t agree more.
    Sadly not all features (mainly to do with locating services and each other by postcode) work outside of the UK where we are located, but if you can live with a few bits & bobs that are ‘tuned’ to the area, you may find junkk.com also quite fun. Just use HR9 for now… one day soon we’ll get a site working in your region:)
