large Lion’s Mane mushroom weighing about 1 lb - 450 grams
sliced into thick rounds
1
tbsp
olive oil or butter
1
garlic clove
finely diced
Salt and pepper to taste
A squeeze of lemon juice
Instructions
Gently clean the mushroom with a soft brush or paper towel.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the mushroom slices and sear for 2 minutes on each side. Do not crowd the mushrooms; do this in batches if necessary.
Scatter the diced garlic over the pan.
Continue frying the mushroom another 2-3 minutes until golden and crisp.
Season with salt, pepper, and a touch of lemon juice before serving.
