It has the highest fructose level of all honeys. It comes from the white tupelo tree that grows in NW Florida, S. Alabama/Mississippi & SW Georgia. It’s the only honey recommended by the American Diabetic Association. 2)To identify real honey, real honey is not clear, 3) you can tell by price too. There are published prices per pound in Bee magazines and it never goes on sale. ie. Central Florida is about $8/lb thus honey on sale for $5.84/lb is probably flavored corn syrup.
