Middle East Climate Change Caused by Emirati Hottie Omar Borkan Al Gala

Three Emirati men were booted from Saudi Arabia because of their smoldering good looks. If you swallow that, then you’ll also believe top scientists are scrambling to determine if heat emanating from the handsome trio may be at the center of global warming.

Omar Borkan Al Gala (and two unnamed friends) became the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) hottest export last month when authorities deported them from Saudi Arabia allegedly fearing their movie star looks would give women immoral thoughts.

Story goes that the men were in Riyadh attending the Jenadrivah Heritage and Culture Festival, when religious police stormed the UAE stand and evicted the men because “they are too handsome,” according to the Arabic language newspaper, Elaph.

Omar Borkan Al Gala “Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them,” Elaph reported. The three cuties were quickly deported back to Abu Dhabi.

An official statement released by the UAE said police were anxious over the unexpected appearance of an unnamed female artist in the Emirates pavilion.  It’s not clear if the woman’s presence was related to the decision to evict the fine-looking fellows, and intel is scant as to her own level of hotness.

Al Gala, here clad in a provocative Brooklyn Nets cap, might be one of the beauteous deportees (the trio’s identities remain unconfirmed).

Along with his parents and three brothers, the 23-year-old has since moved to Canada, where, at least in winter, his heat is much-needed.  He’s been dishing to the media, telling InTouch magazine that being ordered to leave Saudi was, “truly a blessing,” adding, “offers have been pouring in!”

Omar Borkan Al GalaThere’s no denying that the self-described poet, model and – cough, cough – aspiring actor has also been blessed with decent looks. He says he’s always been admired for his style, and that his being “in the wrong place at the wrong time” has helped him realize his biggest ambitions.

“I got a Mercedes G55 for my birthday from a woman I don’t know,” he gushed to InTouch. “It came to my place and I was told, ‘Just sign and take it.’ That’s amazing!”

World reaction to this story has been tremendous. His Facebook page has garnered about a million likes, and he claims he’s bombarded daily with thousands of positive messages. But, about that Facebook page…

In the interest of due diligence, I checked. There are dozens of Facebook pages featuring his name and picture. Some say he’s married, and single, and living in “an open relationship”. He’s based in Florida and Riyadh, Vancouver, New York and Abu Dhabi.

This dude has more degrees than a thermometer. His pages say he went to University of Dubai, American University of Dubai, New York University, and the “universidad de amor” (I’d love to see their mascot).

And while we’re on temperature, I suspect what we’re looking at is a player of the first degree. Yet Al Gala insists fame isn’t going to his head, “I thank God every day”.

Keffiyehs off to this modern Rumpelstiltskin, a young Middle Eastern buck who’s spinning social media and happenstance into self-promotional gold.
