The Green Palestine Investment Company is making Palestine greener one solid waste, waste water, and renewable energy project at a time. Established in 2009, the firm aims to be the first company in Palestine to implement environmental activities that support sustainable economic and social development, and they are already off to a rocking start.
In addition to a partnership with the Bank of Palestine that provides green loans for worthy environmental projects, the investment company has teamed up with PADICO to recycle solid waste in the country, and recently completed two waste water treatment facilities at the Janata and Friends School in Palestine.
The company has three divisions: Solid Waste, Waste Water, and Renewable Energy. Through the latter, the company is marketing alternative energy solutions that are affordable for the Palestinian market.
