I always budget and make a shopping list, always.

But you are fasting the whole day – so when CAN you shop for food? In any event, surely the whole point about Ramadan is also about practising self discipline when all that food is staring at you in the face! It is weird to see all these food bazaars sprouting every Ramadan – I don’t see people of other faiths who also practise fasting making such a big deal about food abstinence.
