If you’ve ever wondered what’s happening in cleantech in Iran, here’s your event: The First International Clean Energy Conference will be held from February 23 to 24 in Kerman, Iran. The main focus of the conference will be on the latest technological developments in clean tech energy projects. Also issues related to electric power distribution and energy saving will be discussed. At the end of the two day conference, one extra day of sightseeing is arranged, which is a good chance to visit the historical places of the old city of Kerman in south east Iran.
The major targets of the conference are:
- Clean energy resource development including solar, wind, ocean waves, tide, geothermal, distributed productions, fuel cells, biomass, hydro-electric, and managing automobile traffic.
- Clean distribution and consumption of energy including micro-grids, smart grids, intelligent grids, energy efficient systems, clean fuel, energy efficient buildings, reduction of negative environmental effects, polluting materials and systems used be electric power industry, and light pollution.
The primary deadline for submitting papers was Oct. 23, 2010 but it is now extended to Nov. 21. The last day for acceptance notification is Jan. 5. To submit a paper email [email protected]
