I don'think most people understand whaer solar technology is going. I am not speaking about the developments or solar efficiency. Solar technology along with other emerging changes in our world is helping to open access to so many things in this world. Think about it before the internet could we share and learn new information so easily and quickly. Africa needs sustainable infrastructures. Aid programs often limit it to curing the ills for a temporary time period (http://ecofuture.net/osquee/2009/08/12/peepoop-sanitation-for-the-third-world/) – PR 101, to keep it refresh for the media.

Solar energy production is very important for these people, I hope its maintanence will also be ensured over years.
