At the turn of 2010 on January 4th, Dubai inaugurated the towering Burj Khalifa, named after the UAE’s President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. The world’s tallest building stands at more than 800 meters (2,625 ft) high with 160 storeys and was developed by Burj Dubai, a development of Emaar properties.
