i can also recommend our CSA, cubeza, (which you mentioned in another post here) they have been delivering organic boxes to tel aviv and jerusalem since 2004 — see http://www.chubeza.com (they have an info page in english, though much more in hebrew, including a weekly newsletter/update from the farm)

Nothing beats the joy of knowing where your food comes from, or meeting the person who grew it, or helping out with a harvest and getting some in exchange. We need more people-connecting CSAs and less anonymous supermarkets. Please.

Hey Michael,
I can definitely vouch for Or-Gani – I’ve been a customer since September and eating their organic produce and knowing where it has come from (and who has grown it) has really changed the way I think about food. My salads taste better when I can put a face and a place with the vegetables.
